Established in November 2015, the Coalition of Concerned Mothers is a grassroots organization with the mission to create collaborative partnerships with families who have been affected by community violence, police brutality/terror and mass incarceration while identifying and supporting legislative and community initiated change.
Our vision is to be the/a catalyst to enact change to address state sanctioned violence that plague our communities; working both locally and nationally with families that have been negatively affected, concerned citizens, law enforcement agents, legislators, policy makers and proponents of social justice and human rights.
Mothers from across the country reach out to our organization regularly for support, comfort or as resource as they transition to a new normal way of life. We vow to stand in solidarity with them as they journey through the various phases of grief, legal services and the legislative process.
